Damon Clear Braces Journey

Hi, I had braces when I was 15 years old.  I had extreme crowding on the top - the two teeth next to my two front teeth were recessed. So the orthodonist removed two teeth on top. I stopped wearing retainers. I'm currently 50 years old. I have an underbite and some crooked teeth (pictures at the bottom of this post).

Within the last few months, I've had many trips to orthodonists to try to get invisalign.
1.  The first doctor said he could do invisalign but then would need to break my jaw because the underbite.
2.  The second orthodonist said break jaw then braces.
3.  The third said invisalign plus potential braces or jaw break.
4.  The forth said damon clear braces (no invisalign because invisalign is only for mild cases). My case is more difficult due to underbite and because I had two teeth pulled on top.  He said I wasn't a surgical candidate as my underbite wasn't structural.

Well, I've decided to go with the damon clear braces. I felt confident in the orthodonist. He had alot of experience with damon braces. My total out of pocket cost will be about $3150 broken down as follows:
 1.  $6,100 (includes retainers for life)
2.   $1400 covered by insurance.
3.  3% pay in full discount which gets me to $4500.
4.  Flexible spending account results in about 30% discount of $1350. So total out of pocket is $3150

I will be getting  clear braces on 4 December 2018. below is my before pictures.  I'll post again when I get my braces on!
